Dorothea Salo is a Distinguished Faculty Associate in UW-Madison’s Information School. She has written and presented internationally on copyright, privacy, linked data, and data curation. Her “Recover Analog and Digital Data” project rescues audio, video, and digital data from obsolete or decaying carriers. As co-investigator for the Data Doubles research project, she is helping investigate undergraduate students’ perceptions of privacy relative to learning analytics. Salo holds an MA in Library and Information Studies and another in Spanish from UW-Madison.
