Sheriff Issaka is a King Morgridge Scholar and a Junior at UW Madison. He is a Computer Science student with certificates in African Studies and Entrepreneurship. Sheriff is an AI enthusiast and researcher; his current AI researches include evaluating AI applications in Africa and using machine learning to predict feed efficiency in cows. He recently won the African Studies Program Racial Justice Grant for his project AI4Afrika where he is working to amplify the voices of people of color in the creation, deployment, and discourse around AI.
