Financial Specialist

The Data Science Institute is accepting applications for a financial specialist. This position will report directly to the associate director of administration, will assist the DSI director, and will support staff members to advance the DSI’s research goals and objectives. This role will be responsible for a vast range of different tasks such as purchasing, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, expense reconciliation, payroll processing, scheduling, and events administration. Apply by March 31.

Salary and benefits

Minimum salaries listed for positions are a baseline, and compensation is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist. UW-Madison offers competitive benefits including health insurance, retirement, paid sick leave, and generous vacation/personal days. Most positions at the DSI offer the flexibility of some remote work.
